Erik joined the team behind the Tony-winning musical The Band’s Visit to co-write the music and lyrics for Dead Outlaw. As Jesse Greene from the New York Times puts it, Dead Outlaw is “about ... a mummy. Specifically, the mummy of a failed Old West gunslinger, used as a sideshow attraction for decades before the truth is discovered in a super-gross way.”
